Feature Request: Block or allow individual devices based on time schedule
I have an R7500 Nighthawk router that works beautifully. But one feature I miss is the ability to block individual devices based on a time schedule. There is a feature to block ALL devices on a time schedule, but not individual devices. Please consider adding that feature. For example, I want to block my 2 kids Ipods between 9pm and 7am on school nights, and 10pm and 7am on weekends, and allow all other devices. Unless I'm missing something, this is not currently possible

Update/Refresh Netgear Genie Program
PLEASE update the Genie program. It is so slow, clunky, outdated, and ugly. It's really pathetic, especially in the vain of more expensive hardware. The user experience does not match the price. It's like buying a Mercedes but the seats are made of cheap cloth. If I spend hundreds of dollars on a top of the line product, I expect the software to be excellent. Other companies have much better software. Catch up.

R8000 Firmware
Per NetGear social media, we are supposed to suggest the below idea here. My idea, as crazy as it sounds, is that Netgear continue to support their R8000 devices. I know, sounds insane but hear me out. People spent hundreds of dollars on a product featuring the "latest tri-band wifi" technology. Now instead of leaving them hanging with a big security exploit for two months, device issues and a feature release stall, Netgear should develop a new robust firmware. Ideally it would be one that wouldn't encourage them to go out and try questionable 3rd party firmwares. That means, it should be competitive (feature wise) with those 3rd parties while fixing ongoing issues highlighted in the forums. Benefits: 1. Happy customers who don't feel like they wasted money and are not stranded with a reletively up to date tech, that lacks manufacture support, features and security. 2. See #1 above. I think it deserves reiteration. Facts 1. product saw less than 18 months of firmware releases and developer support. 2. Nearly 9 months have past since the last firmware update (as of 8/31/2016). 3. June 2016: security notice suggested disabling of features due to security exploit. 4. 2 month later, June 2016 security exploit is still unpatched, leaving customers exposed. 5. There are no Nighthawk products listed on the NetGear EoL page, including the R8000. 6. The product is still available through online and big-box retailers.

GS1xxE and their PoE equivalents. Getting them an IP using DHCP on a specific vlan.
Hello to anyone taking the time to read this. I have close to a dozen netgear GS1xxE switches at my home and various family member's homes by now and swear by the things. Vlan tagging is a must for our various setups and these switches haven't disapointed yet. However , when it comes to configuring them, the fact one is incapable of selecting the vlan on which the things do their DHCP negotiating forces me to use fixed IP's. In essence this isn't all that bad. Répéteurs wifi: transparents et choix du canal
Je trouve dommage deux points sur les répéteurs wifi: il est impossible de relayer un réseau wifi de manière transparente, il faut obligatoirement en créer un nouveau (_EXT, _2GEXT, _5GEXT, ...). J'ai testé en utilisant le même SSID que le réseau initial, ce n'est pas probant. il pourrait être intéressant de pouvoir utiliser un autre canal que celui du réseau initial. J'ai une freebox qui par défaut crée 4 réseaux (freewifi, freewifi_secure, 2G et 5G), le canal est commun à tous. Si on ajoute des relais sur les réseaux personnels, on gorge le même canal, au détriment des performances. Certains matériels permettent ce fonctionnement (par exemple les WAP200 Linksys), pourquoi ne peut-on pas le faire avec du matériel netgear ?

Nighthawk R7000 Traffic Meter Monthly Limit Increase
Please update the Traffic Meter feature for the Nighthawk R7000 to have an increased Monthly Limit that can account into the Tbytes. Comcast as an ISP has began to implement data caps at 1024Mb which equates to 1048576Mbytes but the Monthly Limit field only allows me to enter 104857Mbytes, missing the last digit which is significantly less than the data cap. Given that Comcast is monitoring the traffic it should be available to impose limits and monitor traffic independent of Comcast. It is very important this feature be added. Currently running V1.0.7.10_1.2.3 firmware. This was mentioned in the forums and it was suggested that this be submitted at this location in that post. Hi, I have a lot of devices attached to my router. I try to keep things organized so I can see what is attached in the Attached Devices screen. Can Netgear please add the option to upload a custom icon so one can upload an icon given the current icon set is pretty outdated it seems. Either that or can you please add icons for: Amazon Echo Amazon Echo Dot Amazon Fire Amazon Fire Stick Ring Doorbell Roku Ring Chime Logitech Harmony Samsung SmartThings At the least, can you please add generic icons for: Thermostats Doorbells Smart Assistants (Amazon Echo, Google Home, etc)

orbi faire communiquer la base et le satellite en ethernet quand le wifi ne passe pas
Bonjours après l'achat d'un kit orbi j'ai remarqué une fonction manquante assez importante dans pas mal de configuration quand le satellite est trop loin de la base impossible de l'utiliser dans ce cas il faudrai pouvoir faire communiquer la base et le sat via de l'ethernet (comme le font vos concurent tel que le linksys velop et d'autres produit du genre ) d'une part sa améliorerai le ping et la vitesse entre le sat et la base dans bien des cas et surtout cela permettrai de faire un reseau wifi maillé de qualité dans mon cas ayant une maison + dependance (distantes d'une 20aine de mettres ) relié les 2 en ethernet je pourrai mettre la base dans la maison et des satellites répartis dans la dépendance avec un des sat en ethernet et les autres en wifi ce qui me permettrai une couverture optimale avec un seul reseau wifi avec le meme ssid dans toute la maison + dépendance valerieD sur le forum avait dit qu'un firmware futur aller regler le soucis mais pour le moment rien à l'horizon merci de faire le necessaire pour que ce firwmware voie enfin le jour

Prosafe M4100-26G TLS 1.2 Not Available and Weak Cipher Suites
Our vulnerability scanning shows that our switch's management over HTTPS only has TLS 1.0. In today's world, everything should be at TLS 1.2, so it is causing our vulnerability scanning to report it as a high vulnerability. We have the latest firmware (10.0.2.20), and have recently re-issued the certificates, so I'm not sure what to do. We have the ability to create self-signed certs externally to the switch, but it doesn't seem to allow us to use them. I can only see how to let the switch generate its own certificates. It is also reporting that it is using weak cipher suites. How can I ge these upgraded?
