R7800 is not accept reset!
Hi, I need my old router for my home network. I tried to use my login info but it didn't work. I tried to reset with 7 or 10 sec rules but still gateway IP is 10.0.0.1 and not accepting admin/password login info. I reset many times but result is same; like reset was not working on it. After login tries, it asked me questions about my school and friend but I didn't set anything like that! I'm stuck in a vicious circle! What can I do with this brick to use it like in my old happy days? Thanks,

R7800 Readyshare doesn't work on Windows 11
I have two Netgear routers. One main R7800 and the other R6400v2 connected to it via patchcod operating in AP mode. Both are connected to 2.5" drives via USB. On Win10, access to the USB drives is problem-free, mapping works fine. On Win11, I can't map drives from R7800 - it displays the message "An extended error has occurred". However, I can map a drive from R6400V2. Interestingly, the system does not remember credentials despite selecting the "Remember login credentials" option (you have to enter login data every time you start the system to access the resource) and you can't map a resource by router name, e.g.: \R6400v2\DISK2 - it only works by IP address, e.g. \192.168.1.1\DISK2. Both routers and the computer are in the same workgroup. In the Win11 network environment, R7800 is visible but R6400v@ isn't. SMB1 is enabled, Insecure Guest Login is enabled. I reset the network settings and it doesn't work. What could be the reason for the lack of access to the USB disk on the R7800 via Win11?

R7800: Verliert die Internetverbindung (Vodafone Kabelmodem)
Hallo zusammen, ich bin in der Ersteinrichtung von einem R7800 als Router an einem Kabelmodem von Vodafone im Bridemodus. Die Einrichtung klappt, nach einer unbestimmten Zeit, maximal aber 2 Stunden, verliert der R7800 immer die Internetverbindung. Mit einer FRITZ!Box trat da nicht auf, daher liegt es sicher an dem R7800 oder vielleicht am Zusammenspiel der Komponenten. Die Firmware habe ich direkt auf V1.0.2.80 aktualisiert. In den Statistiken sagt er, die Netzwerkverbindung wäre noch mit 1000 Mbit vorhanden, IP und so sind aber nicht mehr zugewiesen bei der Internetverbindung. Sind solche Probleme bekannt und hatjemand eine Lösung? Viele Grüße Nils

R7800 does not work with DPC3216 modem
Hello everyone, I tried searching for my problem and did not find any solutions. I purchased the R7800 and tried to set it up with my DPC3216 (Spectrum) modem today. I correctly power cycled the modem and connected it to the R7800, and the R7800 had all of the correct lights as solid white. I then tried (via wired connection) to finish the setup process on my PC. The negear genie popped up in my firefox browswer. I tried to do the automated setup process (did not work) and also manual setup process (also did not work). The internet works fine if I connect my PC directly to the modem and power cycle the modem. The internet also works fine if I go back to my old tp-link router and power cycle the modem. I also power cycled the modem with my PC directly connected (internet worked) and then attempted to use the R7800 and clone the MAC address of my PC. This still did not work. Has anyone gotten the R7800 working with the DPC3216 modem? I have spent several hours troubleshooting multiple combinations of solutions and am really stuck here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hallo zusammen, Leider kann ich bei meinem neuen Nighthawk X4S R7800 keinen Wlan Zeitplan erstellen. Ich nutze den R7800 als Router. Hier die Firmewareversion: V1.0.2.44 In der Bedienungsanleitung habe ich das Einrichten eines WLAN-Zeitplans gelesen, doch leider sidn die Felder bei mir grau. Hat jemand eine Idee? Cameras connected to router Via Powerline plugs Kill my internet when turned on.
Right so i have a spicy issue that i cant get my head around and i very much hope a or a multiple of beautiful souls here can help me out with! So lemme throw some deets down! I have some Cameras that hook up to my R7800 via Netgear PL1000 however the second i turn them on, my internet dies. A real nightmare im sure you can imagine! The very second i turn off the powerline plugs. Wham BALAM. Internet is silky smooth again. I drew some pictures to help you visualize the problem! Hallo, ich beabsichtige den R7800 Nighthawk zu kaufen. Dieser wird hinter einem Provider Router eingesetz - der Provider Router stellt am LAN Port nur das Internet bereit, der Netgear soll als Router eingesetzt werden. Meine Frage ist nun, funktioniert dann immer noch das Parental Control, kann ich dieses auch zeitlich einschränken bzw. auf Geräte? Also das überwachte Gerät darf nur von 16-18 Uhr ins Internet und hat eine hohe Filterstufe, alle anderen Geräte sind zeitlich und inhaltlich nicht eingeschränkt? Der Kinderschutz wird doch über OpenDNS realisiert und verursacht keine zusätzlichen Kosten, oder? Kann ich Mailbenachrichtigungen über neue Clients im Netz, geblockter Inhalt, Wochenstatus usw. einrichten? mfg Martin Hi, i am thinking about to buy the R7800 Nighthawk router. Can a client with parental control be controlled with his internet time and any other clients is not blocked or filtered? R7800 stops showing bandwidth usage for devices
When I'm checking my "Attached Devices" it does not show the bandwidth usage from any device, even if the device(s) are using the internet. I have "Enable Auto Refreshing" checked. The only way for me to see it work is to reboot the router, but after a while it stops again. I thought the last firmware update had fixed it but I was wrong. OS: Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Firmware: V1.0.2.36 Browser: Google Chrome
