I have a Meural screen that was working beautifully up until a this past week when it went black. I have tried all the suggestions: unplugged, factory reset, uninstall app, factory reset again, plugged directly to my router, etc. Nothing fixes it. When it powers on each time, I see the Meural (Powered by Netgear) start screen, and then it goes black and is unresponsive. I spent almost an hour talking to customer service. They refuse to escalate unless I purchase a Technical support contract from Netgear. That is not acceptable. This is a known issue with the Meural Canvas products. I see hundreds of similar issues posted online. Their only solution is for me to purchase another product so that I can own a second black screened device in another year. Hi, I've got a couple of Netgear Meurals and they're lovely. But, one of them is now just showing a Meural logo and then, after that, it just goes blank. I've done a hard reset on the unit (put the power on whilst pressing the Reset button for 20 seconds) but still nothing. I know the unit's receiving power and the screen's working because the logo comes up but I don't know what's happening after that. Reading about the problem, it does seem quite common but, has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it? Could it be that I need a different power supply? Could a chip need replacing inside the unit? Is there anyone in the UK that could look at the unit for me? Good evening, Our NETGEAR Meural Canvas II has not been working for almost a year and a half now, and I have tried everything, unfortunately without success. The problem: I suspect it started when we switched to a different internet provider. Since then, the Canvas has been unable to connect, and I can no longer find it in the Meural app. I have tried everything, including a factory reset, but unfortunately to no avail. When I turn on the Meural, it remains stuck on the start screen and I can’t swipe across the screen. The QR code is also not visible, although I do have the product code. In the app, the Meural appears as offline, and when I try to reset the Wi-Fi through the app, it shows a strange Wi-Fi network and then gives the error message seen in the screenshot. I once spoke to someone from customer service by phone, but they were not helpful. I understand that my warranty has expired, but even when I offered to pay for support, the answer was still no. I wanted to check if anyone else is having this issue. I clicked some Live Photos and saved them in a LOOP, but the images appeared as still pictures. There is an old live image, which appears as a live moving image, but any new live images appear as still images. This is the Canvas 21 Software Version: 2.3.2_3.0.329Views0likes0Comments
