Hi, I use an Orbi router RBR50v2 with 2 satellites and they work as expected. Problem is when I try to access the admin page, for example: https://orbilogin.net/index.htm Safari rejects it as it says is not secure ( I've imported the certificate in keychain and trusted, of courwse ), even after confirming I want to access twice. Chrome rejects the page with ERR_SSL_KEY_USAGE_INCOMPATIBLE error. Only Firefox allows access by now. I suppose that newer browsers impose more checks to certificates, so I think it's Netgear to update the router firmware to create an useable certificate, or at least provide the way to update it... Any idea ? Should I start thinking on a new network infrastructure ?
Merci par avance, bonne journée,No amber flashing light at all - bricked RBS50
Hello community, I got an apparently bricked RBS50 for free. The symptom currently is that the power LED in the back stays solid green no matter how many 30-30-30 methods, nothing on the top ring at all either. Tried the procedure of tftp and the nmrpflash as well, simply could not get an ethernet connection between PC and the satellite. Am I totally out of luck on this one? Any suggestions would be appreciated.Adding a used satellite
I have an RBR50 and a RBS50 network. I am buying a used RBS50 to add to the network. Should i do a factory reset to the used RBS50? Then should i do the add a satellite procedure in the Orbi app or just push the sync button on the satellite and the main router? Thank you for your supportSolvedAC3000 RBR50 compatible with CAT6 cable
I understand this is older MESH system. This router has most recent firmware 2.7.5.6 For one will this network support 1GB? Current ISP and plan is 500mbps. All works as planned. What speeds should I see when I do a test on moble device(orbi app) compared to a wireless laptop connected using speednet.test? If I upgrade to 1GB this system ok? Can this systen use cat6 cable at 500 and 1GB? For some reason when I swap from 5e to 6 (not 6a) the network buffers and degrades. Is it easy to replace existing system ac3000 say to 770 system?Adding RBS40 to existing RB50 Network trouble
I currently have an AC3000 tri band RB50 wireless network at home. It consists of the following: (1) RBR50 Router (2) RBS50 Satellites This system works great and has no issues. I am attempting to attach more satellites to this network to extend the coverage to my garage, totaling to (4) satellites. I read online LINK that I can connect an RBS40 satellite to the RBR50 router without issues. I procured a used RB40 setup (1 router + 2 satellites) with the intent to reuse the satellites for my network and ditch the router. I have manually reset each satellite with the reset button upon initial powerup. I went thru the standard connecting procedure noted in the app as well as the .net interface. Each time the connection was unsuccessful. I am curious if this is a firmware issue? My current RB50 firmware is V2.7.5.6, and I have no way of telling what the used RB40 firmware is. I do have means to hardwire via ethernet cable from my RBR50 out to where I intend to use the new RBS40. Not sure if that makes a difference. Looking for some guidance to make this connection. Any help would be appreciated.SolvedRBS50 stopped working
Over night the RBS50 stopped working. I tried to reset it but it did not work. After a few resets, the reset button does not work anymore. I tried the TFTP client method but my computer doesnt even recognise the ethernet cable. Now I'm read the serial port and getting this: Format: Log Type - Time(microsec) - Message - Optional Info Log Type: B - Since Boot(Power On Reset), D - Delta, S - Statistic S - QC_IMAGE_VERSION_STRING=BOOT.BF.3.1.1-00110 S - IMAGE_VARIANT_STRING=DAAAANAZA S - OEM_IMAGE_VERSION_STRING=CRM S - Boot Config, 0x00000023 S - Reset status Config, 0x00000033 S - Core 0 Frequency, 0 MHz B - 262 - PBL, Start B - 1341 - bootable_media_detect_entry, Start B - 18701 - bootable_media_detect_success, Start B - 18716 - elf_loader_entry, Start B - 20928 - auth_hash_seg_entry, Start B - 23091 - auth_hash_seg_exit, Start B - 58143 - elf_segs_hash_verify_entry, Start B - 172935 - PBL, End B - 172960 - SBL1, Start B - 265056 - pm_device_init, Start D - 9 - pm_device_init, Delta B - 266569 - boot_flash_init, Start D - 29858 - boot_flash_init, Delta B - 300781 - boot_config_data_table_init, Start D - 13401 - boot_config_data_table_init, Delta - (419 Bytes) B - 316799 - clock_init, Start D - 7523 - clock_init, Delta B - 327765 - CDT version:2,Platform ID:8,Major ID:1,Minor ID:0,Subtype:1 B - 331172 - sbl1_ddr_set_params, Start B - 336265 - cpr_init, Start D - 2 - cpr_init, Delta B - 340649 - Pre_DDR_clock_init, Start D - 4 - Pre_DDR_clock_init, Delta D - 13173 - sbl1_ddr_set_params, Delta B - 353947 - pm_driver_init, Start D - 2 - pm_driver_init, Delta B - 425205 - sbl1_wait_for_ddr_training, Start D - 27 - sbl1_wait_for_ddr_training, Delta B - 441383 - Image Load, Start D - 152092 - QSEE Image Loaded, Delta - (262104 Bytes) B - 593905 - Image Load, Start D - 899 - SEC Image Loaded, Delta - (0 Bytes) B - 603738 - Image Load, Start D - 213466 - APPSBL Image Loaded, Delta - (416039 Bytes) B - 817631 - QSEE Execution, Start D - 59 - QSEE Execution, Delta B - 823812 - SBL1, End D - 652965 - SBL1, Delta S - Flash Throughput, 1807 KB/s (678738 Bytes, 375551 us) S - DDR Frequency, 672 MHz Format: Log Type - Time(microsec) - Message - Optional Info Log Type: B - Since Boot(Power On Reset), D - Delta, S - Statistic S - QC_IMAGE_VERSION_STRING=BOOT.BF.3.1.1-00110 S - IMAGE_VARIANT_STRING=DAAAANAZA S - OEM_IMAGE_VERSION_STRING=CRM S - Boot Config, 0x00000023 S - Reset status Config, 0x00000033 S - Core 0 Frequency, 0 MHz B - 262 - PBL, Start B - 1341 - bootable_media_detect_entry, Start B - 18681 - bootable_media_detect_success, Start B - 18695 - elf_loader_entry, Start B - 20907 - auth_hash_seg_entry, Start B - 23067 - auth_hash_seg_exit, Start B - 58115 - elf_segs_hash_verify_entry, Start B - 173366 - PBL, End B - 173390 - SBL1, Start B - 265485 - pm_device_init, Start D - 9 - pm_device_init, Delta B - 267001 - boot_flash_init, Start D - 29963 - boot_flash_init, Delta B - 301318 - boot_config_data_table_init, Start D - 10822 - boot_config_data_table_init, Delta - (419 Bytes) B - 314755 - clock_init, Start D - 7551 - clock_init, Delta B - 325748 - CDT version:2,Platform ID:8,Major ID:1,Minor ID:0,Subtype:1 B - 329154 - sbl1_ddr_set_params, Start B - 334247 - cpr_init, Start D - 2 - cpr_init, Delta B - 338630 - Pre_DDR_clock_init, Start D - 4 - Pre_DDR_clock_init, Delta D - 13171 - sbl1_ddr_set_params, Delta B - 351926 - pm_driver_init, Start D - 2 - pm_driver_init, Delta B - 423081 - sbl1_wait_for_ddr_training, Start D - 28 - sbl1_wait_for_ddr_training, Delta B - 439506 - Image Load, Start D - 148234 - QSEE Image Loaded, Delta - (262104 Bytes) B - 588168 - Image Load, Start D - 899 - SEC Image Loaded, Delta - (0 Bytes) B - 598000 - Image Load, Start B - 614984 - Boot error ocuured!. Hi All I have an RBR50 router + RBS50 satellite. Works well, but I need another satellite. I know you can pair RBS20 and RBS40 with RBR50, but will that compromise the overall backhaul speed between my RBS50 and RBR50? Or will it only affect devices connected to the RBS20 or RBS40? Are there any other options? I cannot find an RBS50 in Australia which is annoying.63Views0likes5Comments
