Netgear GS105Ev2 mismatch
Hello, Since the past couple of days, I encountered a problem where a number of applications and websites are not working properly. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. For example, on twitch.tv the stream loads, but after 30 seconds the stream buffers and/or the chat randomly disconnects. On League of Legends I can sometimes connect to the lobby, but get dropped the moment the game starts. Or I disconnect from champ select. Sometimes YouTube loads, but takes a while and drops connection halfway through the video. When checking the router and calling the ISP, everything seems okay. Now I've checked the Netgear GS105Ev2 switch and the cable tester shows a Mismatch error on the cable router through to my PC. The other cables don't give errors. I've updated the firmware and rebooted the switch. I've updated Windows and rebooted the router. I've tried 3 different cables, where each one shows a Mismatch at the end of the cable. Routing is as follows: Port 1: ISP Router -> Switch (1000M) Port 2: My PC (Mismatch) (1000M) Port 3: GF's PC (100M) (This should be 1000M so there's also something going wrong here) Port 4: Solar Panels (100M) Port 5: Not used. Broken GS308EPP web gui after reverse proxy
Hello community, I put my switch GS308EPP behind a reverse proxy HTTP -> HTTPS on my Synology DS923+ which works well. Unfortunately, the errors come after the login. The first error which I solved was that I could not log me in, because the credential mask infinitely loops. This I could manage when setting a proxy header "Cookie $http_cookie" in my reverse proxy settings on my Synology. The second error which I struggle with is, that when logging me in, the whole web UI looks broken. Starting the F12 developer mode in Google Chrome, it says that some .js functions and .svg vectors get 502 - Bad Gateway. Here I got stuck. Hi Netgear Community, I'm facing an issue with my M4350-24X4V. I configured a RADIUS server for user authentication, and it works fine on the main UI. However, I’m unable to authenticate on the AV UI using the same account. I set the default list to prioritize RADIUS, but the login still fails with the RADIUS credentials. Hey, I'm new to switching with netgear! As stated in the title: is it possible to make the switch accessible via the trunk port while also being in a managment vlan? The setup so far: Default-VLan 1, Client-VLan 40, Printer 50 and MGMT 10. The switch can be managed with the IP it gets from the default VLAN over the trunk port. But i want it to be in vlan 10. When i change the managment vlan id to 10 the switch isn`t pingable anymore. The switch is set to dhcp and has a reserved ip address in both vlans (1 and 10). I use the GS108T mainly for testing, will need an solution for the M4300-52G ProSAFE 48-port without needing to connect an laptop! Hallo, ich bin neu in dieser Community allerdings habe ich gleich ein Problem. Ich habe mir zum Testen und einrichten meines Netzwerkes ein Switch gekauft. Ein Netgear GS108ev3 8 Port Switch. Ich würde sagen das dieser Switch in erster Linie auch ganz gut funktioniert, wenn da nur nicht ein Problem wäre. Also Topic ist das dieser Switch anscheinend leichte Probleme hat mit meinem Internet. Es funktioniert zwar aber nicht wie gewünscht. Es scheint als wenn dieser Switch stottert. Also Internet abbricht. Sprich es läuft dann gibt es eine kurze Pause wo sich gar nichts "tut" und dann auf einmal funktioniert wieder alles. bei spielen oder Programmen äußert es sich so, dass es wie ein lag ist. Erst stehe ich an Punkt a und dann auf einmal 20 Meter weiter auf Punkt b. Oder ich schreibe diesen Text, dann Pause und auf einmal ist der Satz fertig.Ausserdem habe ich das gefühl der Switch bremst auch etwas. Ich denke das liegt daran das die Datenpakete auf dem Switch gesammelt werden und dann auf ein rutsch weitergeleitet wird. Das war auch die Vermutung von einem Dozenten. Jedoch möchte ich das so ja nicht haben *logischerweise*. Das Internet soll natürlich fehlerfrei laufen im Sinne von keine "Lags" Anschluss: FritzBox 6490 an Port2 (Hab ich zumindest bei Google gelesen das es evtl. helfen soll. Die FritzBox geht auf dem Switch an Port 8. Port 1 und 2 sind derzeit auf dem Switch belegt mit je 1 PC. (1gb Netzwerk). Diese PC sollen auch uneingeschränkten Zugriff haben. Das dient erstmal als Grundkonfiguration (Sprich Netzwerk wird später erweitert sofern diese Macken behoben sind) Derzeitige Einstellung ist das nahezu alles deaktiviert ist um zu sehen wie sich das Internet verhält. Port 1 / 2 / 3 sind auf 1000M Link Speed Flow Control ist Deaktiviert DHCP ist auf da DHCP über die Fritzbox läuft Loop Detection Diabled IGMP & IGMPv3 Disable Block Unknown Multicast Adress Disable (Noch) keine Vlan QoS Mode ist zur Zeit port Based mit High Priority auf Port 1 / 2 ( Wenn QoS mode auf 802.1p/DSCP steht scheint das aber auch kein Unterschied zu Machen) Rate Limit = No Limit sowohl bei Ingress Rate wie auch bei Egress Rate Broadcast Filtering habe ich aus (zum testen) Ich denke das sind erst einmal die Wichtigsten Informationen zu meinem Problem. Hallo Wenn ich das LAN (selbst angeschlossen) am LAN Port anschließe, blinkt es. Nicht das typische verbindungsflackern, sondern beide LEDs leuchten, gehen wieder aus, gehen nach 2 Sekunden wieder an usw. Es sieht so aus, als wenn die verbindung immer wieder abbricht. jemand eine Idee?
