I just factory reset everything as i had to do something. Why is it that during the setup the router seems to already know my custom sattelite names? (also not had to sync them again).I have not restored anything and reset all 4 devices with a paperclip until the blinking orange light... btw. The disconnects are already happening again. No i have not contacted support yet.

Please open up a support ticket and contact NG support and let them know what your experinecing.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 📡What channels are you using? Auto?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Really?
Its not that i am not willing but it seems my complementary support expired in april, but i can get a hw replacement.
My hw is not defected, my sattelites are placed correctly and the frequency were never an issue. The issues i see now started directly after upgrading to 4.6.3.7 the day before (and months) everything worked really perfectly. minutes after upgrading the disconnects and instability started to happen. So all the questions asked above are not relevant as with 3.2.18.1 everything was fine and so far i was really happy with NG and the Orbi's, recommended it to friends, colleages and family.. but i am starting to feel sorry for that.
I think NG has to acknowledge there are issues with the 4.6.3.7 version and fix it as soon as possible instead of stringing everyone along to open support tickets.
At this moment my household is disrupted becaues of this. Already spent hours trying to fix it myself. This is not what I was buying into when i orderd the RBK753. Of course bugs exist but this feels as if SQA failed and 4.6.3.7 was not properly tested before the release.
So rather than asking everyone to open tickets, please look into it yourself, it is unimaginable that NG is unable to reproduce these issues withing Support/Engineering.

Instead of trying the reset button, try using the ERASE function on the RBRs web page. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced settings/Backup. See if this clears out all of yoru configurations from the RBR.
Be sure to also clear out all browser caches after you trigger the ERASE.

- I have disabled the AX feature for 2.4 and 5 GHz and the problem seems to be gone….
Experiencing all these issues also with my RBR750 and RBS750. I tried to roll back the satalite to previous firmware version and it worked but automatically updated with my consent. I wish I could return this but out of my window.
I have tried the following:
- Trying this twice - Factory resetting both the RBR750 and RBS750
- Rolling back the RBS750 to previous firmware version
- Disabling RTS, reducing power tx percentage, expanding the distance (and shrinking) between RBR750 and RBS750
Issues Experiencing:
- DNS issues (internet goes down) have to reboot router but modem is fine
- RBS750 looses connection and repeats blue light throught the day but does not display a light that it lost connection
- Slow WIFI performance about 200-300 mbps compared to last firmware release using the orbi app measurement tools
- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
Try disabling AX mode on both radios?

Trying that now and seeing if there is a difference. Will report back after 2-3 days.

In meantime, has ANYONE in this thread attempted to down grade from v4 to v3 and was it successful?
Seeing some post saying they've been able to down grade.
Try to find out which v3 versions they used and what browser...
- Gatorade2000ApprenticeYou can downgrade satellite but not the main router. There is no fking “yes” button to proceed.

There is no fking “yes” button to proceed.I have also downgraded the satellite to the v3 firmware only to find out it upgraded itself the next day. There is no way to "disable" the updates to my knowledge. I have tried blocking the updates domains though through my custom DNS service (AdGuardHome). I wish there was a feature like Windows at least to disable any major updates (i.e. v3 to v4) for 90 days so the bugs can be worked out.

Myabe someone can ask this person what they did to downgrade theres:
Seems to mention they got there RBR downgraded prior to downgrading the RBS.
Waiting to see what browser they used and the process. I presume they used the RBRs web page then used the RBS web page to downgrade them lastly. Hopefully they can confirm.
- mnkknmInitiateI patiently waited a week for a fix for the Orbi. Since the firmware “upgrade”. My WiFi is almost unusable with satellites working/not working, having to jump to guest WiFi and back to the main WiFi as one or both would intermittently stop working. I have factory reset daily and all of my home automation is next to useless. I can’t wait any longer. Any recommendations for another WiFi 6 mesh brand? Costco has a lot of choices right now. Range over speed is my priority. Thanks in advance .

You'll need to return the system then and find something else. Rencommend other NG routers if they have anything. If not. Good luck else where.

I have a RBK753 purchased from COSTOC.
Now it runs on V4.6.3.7_2.0.49 on all 3 units (One RBR750, two RBS750). I could not find SPC in either the Orbi mobile app, or the web UI.
I did a factory reset on the entire kit last night, uninstall/reinstall Orbi app on my android phone, clean up the storage/cache on my android phone, install Orbi app on my wife's iPhone. It does not offer me with SPC.
Anyone know what else trick I should try, or help me debug this issue. Your input is appreciated.
Thanks!

Sure. let me post there as well.
I tried the link, there is no "Add On" being offered to my orbi mobile app.

Has anyone gotten any communications from the official NG support? Did they ask for any logs, provide any updates, acknowledge the issue with the satellite instability? I disabled AX features (without going through factory reset) and it seemed to actually make things worse. Trying to avoid time spent on all this workaround when clearly it is a bug in the firmware that needs to be fixed.
- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
NG is aware of problems with the FW. They don't give time frames on when new fixes will be forth coming.
Try a factory reset and setup from scratch.
Some other posters said they got better operation with AX mode disabled, so it may work so some, may not for others.

Hello,
We have Cox GigaBlast service (1 GB of bandwidth).
When FW4.6.3.7 was released, our router auto-update and our speed went from 940mbps to 600mbps (using Internet Speed Test on Orbi app) to 8mbps-22mbps using SpeedTest.net on MacBookPro and other wireless devices connected to the Orbi Router. Our TV is wired and is getting 78mbps.
I 'upgraded' from the RBK 750 to the RBK753S. When I first installed this 'new' router with firmware 3.1.18.1, we got accurate speed and the wifi did not drop. But Netgear removed the option to select whether to auto-upgrade f/w...which means our f/w auto-upgraded to 4.6.3.7!! So now we're back to the exact same problem!
Cox is our ISP. They have sent three technicians to our home to verify the signal to the pedestal and to the node for our house; to the external box on our house and directly to the Netgear CM1200 modem. It is NOT an ISP issue.
Any solutions? The agent I spoke with today at Netgear is escalating this issue to a senior technical lead, as it's been three weeks of speed between 8mbps and 200mbps.
Thanks

Scott - Gatorade2000Apprenticescott, good morning. All these 10 pages or so are about the same issue.

I confirm post #235 fixed the issue for me. It was a DHCP issue the entire time! No more disconnects and I have my Orbi back, thank you!
- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
1. I ended up turning off the AX channels, although I don't really think this led to an increase in stability.
2. I am running the 2437 CTX/RTX?

Sorry , I'm confused, can you walk me through what you did here? My connection to my sattalites have been HORRIBLE and constantly dropping.
I have Verizon FIOS and an ONT. My Orbi has always been 192.168.1.1 and all the devices 192.168.1.X
What did you changed that fixed it?
Thank you!
- How are we weeks later and no fix or roll back options?
Mistakes happen, I get that. The sign of a company is how the deal with it. Netgear approach? Silence. I’m shocked and appalled. Let us roll back is such a simple solution in the short term.
We’re in the middle of a pandemic. People are trying to work from home, and home school - our £700 routers should be able to enable that.
Totally unacceptable.- Gatorade2000Apprenticebuy their premium warranty and pay $$ more. I am also surprised that NG can get away with just 90 day support. I have filed a complaint with my state AG about this.
- Same here. I actually did pay for the extended warranty but have found out that there is no way for me to call support? How can I request or file a warranty replacement without calling?
I’m reaching out to my legal service to see if I can get a buy back going.

You guys can try this:
FW fixes don't happen over night.

Totally unacceptable. So I was contacted by support and gave them some debug logs (contacted on 8/20). I also gave them some more over the weekend. Based on our conversation, they are still collecting data to troubleshoot the issue. I am also very fustrated that these expensive routers can be crippled by a non-voluntary firmware update (also complained about this to them). I come from an embedded software background (been doing it for over decade). I offered to speak with one of their software engineers directly to help troubleshoot the issue engineer to engineer.
Since this is such a widespread issue, I do wish that officals from NG could post on this forum updates weekly (sticky thread). I have a Rachio sprinkler controller and the Homekit was buggy due to a firmware update. They are posting updates (even if there is nothing to report) for some communication to their customers. I would implor NG to do the same.
So I am noticing although I have disabled the AX features, my RBS750 still disconnects once a day (blue light and devices disappear). The network is definitely not stable. I was looking over the posts about a DHCP issue but not understanding how it applies to me with a Netgear modem from Comcast to RBR750. I do have my DHCP giving out IP address from 192.168.1.X to 192.168.1.Y so I can assign static IP addresses after 192.168.1.Y.

Think of what might happen if the router DHCP server is very slow or stops giving out IP addresses (which has caused a lot of trouble for me). It looks to me like clients disconnect and try again, and the Satellites get their IP addresses refreshed after a time just like any DHCP client.
