Better user interface might bring in subscribers
The status quo:
only the canvas owner can has access to the canvas controls, invited collaborators are seeing a completely blank app screen
The problem:
Invited users/collaborators such as spouses, family members, etc. even living in the same household cannot control the frame at all e.g to show pictures to someone and are always dependent on the account owner for this.
Why can - and would you - invite others to your canvas - if it has ZERO functionality?
The Solution:
Control rights - or even a rights management for invited users/collaborators that can be controlled by the account owner.
Why?
What seems to make sense for very few scenarios, where invited users should indeed only be able to upload pictures, is simply hindering to frustrating for the majority of use cases.
I initially even thought it was a bug that invited users only see the black screen one the control options in the app and contacted CS to report the suspected bug and did not even consider this could be the case on purpose!
Why this so completely meaningless - but confusing app screen without any functionality?
Why no control possibility for invited users, which is technically easy, because already implemented for the owner?
This would be a tremendous increase in value of the canvas for the whole home and the whole family - please make this happen!
