Re: Wifi no internet but ethernet works
What error do you get?
Are you able to connect to the wifi but it says "connected, no internet"
What actually happens?
What modem/gateway is the router connected to?
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity

Re: Wifi no internet but ethernet works
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure the wifi button on top of the router is ON. IF thats OFF, press it for 5 seconds then release. Wifi LEDS should turn ON for 2.4 and 5Ghz.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Re: Wifi no internet but ethernet works
Try a different firmware for that router and see if that helps it. Maybe upgrade or downgrade the firmware depending which firmware it has.

Wifi will loose internet access but ethernet works fine. Have to reboot router to fix
The lack of detail there may explain why you have had so many different suggestions. (I'd avoid changing firmware until you have tracked down the problem.)
Before diving too deeply, try answering the question that @FURRYe38 asked about the modem/gateway.
Which firmware version do you have on the R8000?
Does this happen with all wifi clients?
Then there i the question from @plemans "What error do you get?"

Re: Wifi no internet but ethernet works
Firmware Version is V1.0.4.84_10.1.84
i think the modem is EU2251 from Spectrum. Just upgraded from a Spectrum Cisco Model DPC3010. WIFI internet cuts out with both. Wifi is on just connected with no internet. I have not done a factory reset.

Did you have wifi problems with the old modem?
Did you reset the router when you changed the modem?
That tells it to forget settings inherited from the old modem.

Re: Wifi no internet but ethernet works
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
Does the router feel extra warm or hot on top?
How do you have Basic wireless settings and Advanced wireless settings configured? Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Your modems don't have wifi or built in routers.

Re: Wifi no internet but ethernet works
I would try a factory reset and setup from scratch.
I also recommend placing a laptop cooler under the router for additional cooling.
