SABnzbd++
I've got it working on my Duo. HOW CAN I GET IT TO YOU GUYS IN A PACKAGE?! If anyone wants to make it themselves, fine by me. All you really have to do is install python2.4 with apt, follow the normal dependancies you need for SABnzbd, and change this one line in the SABnzbd.py file....oooooooh
to
I'm still running tests, but 2 versions off? I see no real issue. Oh yeah, don't forget to change the port to something other than 8080.

Re: SABnzbd++
You mean Sabnzbd from Sabnzbd.org ? What version are you running, 4.3? and how is the performace?
Since I can only get half the speed with nzbget on the readynas compared to sabnzbd on a 1Ghz mini-itx it thought it would be pretty slow on the sparc cpu...
/Mr ?

Yes, latest and greatest 0.4.4. Will have to test speeds and performance later.

NZBget I can squeeze out 1900KB/s (5000KB/s possible with my other computer). I can still watch movies at the same time, speed isnt affected.

Re: SABnzbd++
Hum, not too bad...
Especially is you can just keep using the NAS for Movie viewing and stuff...
Sabnzbd/NZBGet could run as a (kinda slower then normal) background process...
As my NAS will be on all the time it does not matter it is a bit slower.
How is the Frontview Addon for NZBGet getting along....
And will there be a Frontview Addon for Sabnzbd ?
PS Nice download speed almost 40 Mbit/s what kinda connection do you got,
only got like 20 over here.

I tried making an addon, but I could never get it to work properly. Plus I have no idea how to include everything in it.

Yeah you... :lol:
But i was talking about NZBGet which TsUPeR made a binary of,
the binary link is provided on the next page....
As for the SABNZBD plugin, which you thought I was talking about, would be awesome to have a frontview addon for it too,
but never seen the binary yet, as it was made by xOrphenochx guess we are dependend of him.
Gibb....
PS Super-poussin I was not just assuming you would make the addon for NZBGet, but you told us in the NZBGet thread 🙂

Re: SABnzbd++
You can grab it here. All is included in the binary and no additional packages should be needed. I havent tried ssl but it should work. The developer (Andrei) has been very helpful and if i could just get an answer of what standard packages are delivered in a non dev system i could probably strip the binary even more...

To anyone who plans on following his guide, which should work. You must watch out as this might take up a lot of space on your internal CF card if you've not upgraded to something larger. And I'm sorry guys for not posting something recent, been busy.

Re: SABnzbd++
Please, please can somebody provide some help getting this app runing on the ReadyNas Duo...
I found the following guide, but it does not work for me - plus it's based upon an older version of the SABznbd client....
I really would appreciate the assistance since want to switch off my PC overnight...
I have got root SSL access, have installed the APT1.0 plug in so ready to go..

Hello,
I've had SabNzbd working on my ReadyNAS Pro since last week.
It is great but crashes very frequently on SSL errors.
See here for an example from the error.log:

Does it ring a bell?
Please? Anybody?
Thanks
