Delete ReadyNAS remote username
Ok Im sure I'm not the only one... I would like to get rid of a user id in ReadyNAS remote.
First I login to - https://remote.readynas.com/index.jsp?pid=3
Then type in the credentials and login
Then I go into account information for that user
Then I click on Delete Account
All that it does is logs me off the profile settings, I can now log back in to the profile settings or connect via that user id.
What gives Netgear?

Re: Delete ReadyNAS remote username
Have you removed that user from the allowed list for all your devices and logged out that user if it's in use on a client machine.

Re: Delete ReadyNAS remote username
Yes did all that, I even uninstalled the readynas remote client just to make sure, removed from allowed users on the RNAS UI.
I tried chrome, IE and a different computer just to make sure ... still nothing.

Re: Delete ReadyNAS remote username
Could you turn off the NAS and then try deleting the user?

Re: Delete ReadyNAS remote username
I'm getting the same problem. I could nt get access using remote after I upgraded from a Ready Duo to a Pro2. i then tried to delete the users from Remote website and then set up new users.
Still nothing, and the old user names are still there!
Help I need remote access.

Re: Delete ReadyNAS remote username
I am having the same issue. I have a NV+ with v4.1.7 and RAIDar 4.3.1 Windows 7 32-bit.
How can we delete ReadyNAS remote users?????
I have tried the steps that the other posts have tried, and the names keep showing up in the ReadyNAS UI.

Having the same problem here...just trying to delete an account, tried various browsers / machines but no luck.
Seems to be a bug with the website...very frustrating! 😞
