Deleting files AFP Mac OS
I have a ReadyNAS NV+ and am accessing via AFP on my Mac. I have two shares with exactly the same AFP settings (no boxes checked). On one share I can delete files, from the other I cannot.... I am connected via my administrator id and password to the NAS
The message I get is that "the operation cant be completed as you dont have permissions to access some of the items.... "
Help appreciated
Jonathan

Re: Deleting files AFP Mac OS
Try to set the permission of that problematic share open. Follow the instructions below:
1. Go to Shares > Share Listings
2. Click AFP icon of the share
3. Go to Advance Options tab
4. Share folder owner: "share name"
5. Share folder group: "nogroup"
6. Put a check on "Set ownership and permission for existing files and folders in this share to the above settings." and click Apply.
This will set the permission of that specific folder to open. I hope that it helps.
