realtime bandwidth monitoring by device
It would be great if you could see realtime bandwidth per device for the netgear r7000, similar to Google Wifi and Eero. It would be a really useful info and diagnostic tool to see what devices are currently taking up bandwidth. It would be great if this was added to the router web administration page as well theNetgear Genie and/or Netgear Up apps. We would like to see them returned to public review and use as they are handy to have and point users too and does provide a alternative way to factory reset NETGEAR routers and MESH systems. Handy in that for MESH systems, it avoids having a user to manually walk around, find and manually press the reset button on satellites that are deployed. Using the ERASE button triggers a factory reset routine on both deployed satellites and the main router unit. Please bring this two KB articles back for public use. I would recommend updating them to reflect how the factory reset process works for MESH systems.CU-Ball

Hide SSID password on router home page
Netgear, please DO NOT DISPLAY the WiFi passwords in the clear for the primary and guest networks on the default Basic -> Home page of the http://orbilogin.com web interface. The passwords should not be displayed on this page at all, instead it would be more helpful to display the encryption being used on both the Primary and Guest WiFi networks for this status page. Please correct this security issue! The password can still be shown when uncovered on the WiFi Settings pages if needed, else it should only show *********** to hide the SSID password. There is absolutely NO REASON to display PASSWORDS IN CLEAR TEXT on the home page!Add Spectrum Analyzer tab to User Interface of CM3000 cable modem
Hello, I recently upgraded from a Motorola MB8600 cable modem to a Netgear CM3000. The Netgear seems like a great modem, however, one thing I really miss is the spectrum analyzer tool for troubleshooting upstream RF problems. I heard that the spectrum analyzer is available on the CM3000 if you use port 8080 (192.168.100.1:8080) however, certain ISPs, such as Comcast/Xfinity restrict modem access to port 80. So for those situations, the only way to access the spectrum analyzer tool would be for Netgear to add it to the User Interface on TCP port 80.RS700 WAN Failover
I have the following hardware: Netgear LM1200 - LTE Modem Netgear CM2000 - Cable Modem Netgear RS700 During the pandemic, like many, my company swapped to a remote or hybrid model. That means that my internet is now critical to my employment. As such, I implemented a backup for when my cable goes down (3 times in 2 years). Currently my network looks like this: CM2000 -> LM1200 -> RS700 -> 10GBE Switch. The issue is that Comcast in my area is going to start >1Gbps testing soon, but I am currently being limited by the 1GBE passthrough in the LM1200. I see that the RS700 allows WAN aggregation (10GBE+1GBE), but it would be helpful if you also allowed WAN failover from the 10GBE to the 1 GBE Port. In my case I would have the CM2000 connected to the 10GBE port (at 2.5GBE) and the LM1200 on the 1 GBE Port for the failover. If the system is capable of link aggregation it has to be capable of failover.Web GUI interface change

Can we also upvate this together so netgear might take a look at in and adjust this behaviour? The one rrile you applied is always on the button, even after changing the rule, which is kind of annoying, Im a Cloud Engineer myself, yeah with a so-called Gaming Router. But to have u much easier and quicker way to get a good overview it should, in my opinion always be listed drom 192.168.0.1 till .*.254 Would like to have a update on this if it also applies to other modelsmake a new gaming router modem with WiFi 7 2023 or 2024

I recently purchased the NETGEAR Nighthawk Multi-Gig Cable Modem (CM2000). Even though the amazon states that this modem is compatible with all cable providers, it is not on the approved modem list for my cable internet provider Midcontinent Communications. The modem looks great, and I would like to use it. Can I put in a request that NETGEAR try to get this added to Midcontinent's approved list. More customers would likely purchase this modem if it would get approved.
