I have a Nighthawk M3 MH3150 and a Netgear Ethernet adapter. (The M3 has no ethernet port, just a USB-C one, so needs the adapter for ethernet). The adapter has one 'in' port USB-C to connect to the M3, one 'in' port for USB-C power-in, and one 'out' port for ethernet. When I plug in the adapter, ethernet works fine. BUT the 'in' port for USB-C power-in does not keep the M3 charged. The lightning charging on the M3 battery icon does not appear. I have tried many, many different USB-C power sources from 10W to 60W and still no charging. Does anyone use this setup? Is there some obscure config setting I need to change somewhere to get this battery charging active?ORBI NBR750 5gh cannot be disabled
I have an ORBI NBR750. I need to force the router to use only the 2.4 GHz antennas by disabling the 5 GHz ones. Even though I’ve done this, I still see some connected devices listed as connected to the 5 GHz band. I turned off the two satellites, restarted the router, but nothing changed; my iPhone is still connected to the 5 GHz band instead of the 2.4 GHz band. Netgear support doesn’t seem to respond to products that are out of warranty. How do I fix this? Also, the system tells me there’s a firmware update available, but in reality, there isn’t one. Is it possible to have all these bugs?MH7150 M7 not accepting my eSIM
Hello, just bought a M7 to use a eSIM from Free (working fine on my iPad Pro). Whatever with QR code or manual configuration, the installation of the eSIM is not working. i would like to use it according to the big data associated to it in different countries. as mentioned this is fine on my iPad. Any clue how to make it work ? The M7 is running the latest firmware. thanks for your support ludovicNetgear MR7400 (M7 Pro) hotspot + Intel BE201 WiFi card
I’m having a strange compatibility issue with a Netgear MR7400 (M7 Pro)-unlocked hotspot and a Windows laptop with an Intel BE201 Wi-Fi 7 card. The laptop can see the 5 GHz and 6 GHz networks but gets stuck on “connecting” forever, while phones connect instantly at full speed. I reinstalled Windows, updated drivers, and even replaced both the Wi-Fi card and the hotspot — same result. Interestingly, another laptop with an Intel AX211 (Wi-Fi 6E) can connect to the 5 GHz band, so it seems newer Wi-Fi 7 adapters are stricter about the hotspot’s security handshake and refuse to finish connecting. Looking for suggestions on how to resolve this issue. Thanks.MH7150 Not receiving text messages
I have the MH7150 (Nighthawk M7) using an eSIM however the device isn't receiving text messages, I have accessed the admin panel through the browser but it is not showing any messages. The device is running the latest firmware and I have tried a factory reset to see if it resolves the issue however it is still not working. The M7 Pro device is unable to connect to the 5G network with the STC provider 2
My M7 Pro is unable to connect to 5G with STC service provider and only works on 4G in Saudi Arabia. We need a solution to this problem. We have contacted support and they have indicated that the issue is a technical problem with Netgear. The problem existed in the M6 Pro and was resolved; we need a solution for the M7 Pro. Hello, I have the same problem, I solved the WIFI name problem with a factory reset. But now I want to change the encryption to WP3 and the problem is the same, the "apply" button is disabled. Also I cannot use my standard mobile PW for all my mobile router, because of a special key inside of it. How could that be fixed on the M3?Wifi drops when using high-bandwidth mobile apps, router or network setting?
Hi everyone, quick question. I’ve noticed that my home wifi becomes unstable when using heavier mobile apps, especially things like a mobile video editor tool, that uploads or processes files in the background. Other devices start buffering or briefly disconnect even though the signal strength looks fine. Could this be related to QoS settings, bandwidth allocation, or firmware behavior on netgear routers? Curious what others usually check first when certain apps seem to overload the network.
