With the release of the v3.7.7.0 firmware for the WNDAP260, which in theory only fixed the WPA2 handshake "KRACK" issues, the WMS5316 controller can no longer authenticate the APs. Reverting to v3.6.9.0 restores the connectivity.
I realise that there are newer controllers around than the WMS5316, but it would be nice to not have to spend the best part of £1k to maintain an existing installation. It's a hard sell (at best) to our client.
Thanks for considering this request.

Hello. I upgraded to 4.3.5-3 this week and turned off UPnP since I no longer was traveling.
In any case, after successfully disabling the feature via Security > UPnP > No/Disable, I got this message, "Operation Succedded."
#1 - there is a misspelling in the 2nd word. It now shows, "Succedded," when it should be, "Succeeded."
#2 - If the operation was successful, why is the color of the message red. Should it not be Green? For those that are color blind, color contrast would help discern a success message from a failure message.
The first one should be corrected, of course, for English speaking folks. #2 is just a UI observation.
Screenshot is also attached.

Hi
I have a feature request. I just found out that my JGS516PE does not support or have SNMP. I was dissapointed by this as I want to monitor the switch'es health of things such as operating tempreture.
Is this possible to add in a firmware update?

Currently the guest/captive portal feature is very very limited and to customise the portal to reflect a business brand is extremely limited. I accept there are limitations to what can be done and its not a website, but you are effectively limited to a background picture and some customised text within the terms and conditions panel.
Need the ability to enter more than just email address, for example Name, Address, Age, Phone number, Am interested in more information on "This", "That", "The Other" and possibly some other data.
I have this WC7600 in a hotel and minimal information is ok for a basic environment, but this is a 4 star hotel and they want a more professional appearance.

I am looking for a router which I will use in a hotel environment. We have a 200MBit connection, so it shouldn't be a 100MBit router. We want to connect several (~5) wifi access points to provide Internet to our guests. Every guest has to accept our terms of condition before he can use the Internet. Every connection should be logged within a logfile with date, time and the MAC addresses. Furthermore we want to limit the bandwidth of every device (for instance 3Mbit) Do you have a router which fits this requirements?

Hi
We have over 50 WNDAP360 accesspoints. They are on firmware version 3.5.5.0
We still have freezing issues, everything seems to be OK on the front leds, but the acesspoint won't connect/answer to a client. Totaly out of order and users complaying about poor Wi-Fi
a. Are all 50 WNDAP360 access points working fine before?
No, they are randomly freezing/hanging up. We have them on 4 different locations.
b. Are you using a wireless controller?
No!
c. How are the WNDAP360 access points mounted? Are they mounted on the ceiling or on the side wall?
Most of them on ceiling!
d. Does both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands have poor wireless connection on every WNDAP360 access point?
It doesn't matter, if one of them hangs up it does not respond on Wi-Fi at all. Usually users tell me that they have poor Wi-Fi and when I check/scan for Wi-fi I see that this accesspoint is out of order, totaly.
e. What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
New firmware, factory reset. I have shut down all accesspoints except the one that is freezed for verification. A restart allways help. Why just not have a scheduled restart option on this businnes product it would help us a lot.

We have allready had several cases about this issue. The answer is "reset to factory default" and it will work for a time....or.... "you can return the old one and we send you a new one"(takes 2 months for a case, we don't have this time anymore).
Please, make a new firmware with a schedule restart for the business accesspoints(ex WNDAP360).

To see the full DHCP leases I should open the page "Network Configuration" -> "LAN Settings" -> LAN Groups. However, it takes over a minute to open. I only have 15 devices. From the community post it looks the issue is common to many other Netgear devices. I highly recommend improveing the performance.

Hi,
it would be nice to manage the M4300 series in NMS300, so please add support to backup the switches config via Telnet (or HTTP/S).
See also this post as it shows some errors while using NMS300 to backup config from a M4300 switch:

Thanks and best regards.

The firmware release notes for the GS108v3 state that the web UI works by monitoring all traffic on port 80, and that when flow control is enabled thoughput may be effected. On my switch the throughput is reduced all the way down to around 20Mbps!
I think there should be an option to allow the user to change the web UI port to one that is not likely to have much traffic and even an option to completely disable the web UI.
To make the switch more plug-and-play friendly I also think the default UI port should be changed to something like 84 or have flow control disabled by default.
