Canvas Says Offline

Hello
My canvas is not coming online, I am connected to the network, however upon checking on the computer is says status offline.
The app on the phone will not sync. I makes the connection to my network but the phone and canvas won't synch.
I have done the factory reset multiple times today, and nothing has helped, tried even opening a new account, nothing seems to help.
Please help me bring the canvas back online. My network is working well, I've tried reseting the network on canvas, removed, added, nothing helps.
Is there any other way? Is nether system offline?

MC227 (2nd Generation) Has Correct WiFi Information But App / Website Says Offline
This is regarding my MC227 canvas. The canvas has disconnected from the WiFi in my home, and stubbornly refuses to behave as if it is connected so it can receive new artwork images, despite displaying the correct name of my WiFi network both on the canvas itself and in the app / website portal and appearing in that way to in fact be connected properly — the canvas looks like it is connected to my WiFi, but the app and the website portal say the canvas is Offline; my router even shows real-time traffic for the canvas.
I have the following steps: 1) I have restarted the WiF from the canvas menui. 2) I have ‘Cleared All WiFi Connections’ and attempted to reconnect that way. 3) I have removed and re-added the canvas to my account, triggering the QR-Code setup process. 4) I have attempted to factory-reset the canvas using the instructions under the support area for this product, but although I can hear a faint click when the paper clip I am using to press the teeny tiny curse-ed button inside the canvas frame as directed, when following the correct reset steps, the canvas does not reset but behaves as if no reset commands were given.
Is there any way to resolve this?

what modem/gateway do you have?
What router is the canvas connected to?
Does the canvas connect to a phone's hotspot and show online?

I called customer service, explained to them and they said if I wanted to do a “special troubleshooting” I would have to buy extended warranty. It’s so unfair because my Meural doesn’t seem to be broken, and seems to be a software issue on network.
I did try using my iPhone as a hotspot and problem persisted, meaning it’s not a network problem on my end. Please help. I can’t have this bricked on me like this.

1. what asus router?
2. what modem is the asus connected to?
3. is the asus using any type of access control/security that could potentially block?
4. did you try a factory reset on the canvas?

Did you try factory resetting the Canvas?
Or deleting the network and reconnecting it?

I understand that you are having trouble factory resetting your Meural Canvas.
Please try the following steps to successfully factory reset your Meural Canvas:
- Unplug your Meural Canvas
- Hold down the reset button
- Plug in your Meural Canvas while holding down the reset button.
- Wait 20 seconds
- Now release the reset button

Same problem. I can ping the frame so I know its online and my internet connection at the house is fine, but the frame says it's offline. Started two days ago. Looks like NetGear pushed a bad server build and hasn't figured out how to fix it yet.

Damn, I just bought the meural 2. I have had the Meural 1 for nearly 10 years and it has been flawless until it went offline about a week ago. I tried for hours to fix it to no avail, even being on chat with Meural support. I did all the stuff I have seen here, and nothing. I went to bed, the next morning, I turned on the Computer and the Meural was online. I think the problem is at Meural. I love this frame, I hope the new one works.

I understand that you are having compatibility issues between your Meural app and your Meural Canvas. To resolve this issue, uninstall then re-install your Meural app to ensure that your Meural app in up-to-date. Then ensure that your Meural Canvas is updated to the latest released firmware.
Please follow the steps listed below to update your Meural Canvas:
Navigate to my.meural.com
Select your initials on the far right
Select Canvases
Scroll down to Canvas Software Version
Select the arrow on the right of the software version
Select update on the top right

Would be helpful to know about the ISP Brand and model# modem or ONT that you are all using and brand and model# of the host router that is also being used that the Meural's are connecting too.
Also would be good to know if you have connected the Meural device to a different internet source such a a phone or hot spot mobile router to see if the problem follows or not.

Thank you for reaching out. I have uninstalled the app on my iPhone and also IPad, still didn’t work, same issue, it didn’t complete step 2 of 2 on synch.
As far as the canvas update, I’m even tho it shows connected to my WiFi, it shows as offline, making it impossible to try any software update on it
