It would be really useful to be able to configure DHCP Snooping features within the web or mobile interfaces. Certain scenarios involving DHCP just make using managed mode impossible.

Netgear Insight, although I think targeted toward businesses, does not support compliant WPA2 Enterprise. It forces TKIP+AES mixed mode. It is impossible to enforce WPA2 Enterprise on an Insight managed device. The devices are capable, but you have to unmanage a device and set CCMP-AES manually on the local interface, and that AP can never be managed by Insight, or it will change the encryption from AES back to TKIP+AES mixed mode.

When I bought this business class mesh system about a year back (1 router and 2 satellites), tech support stated that the product being a business producr does not have a built in firewall and I should procure an external firewall. A year back tech support stated that vlan segmentation and vlan to ssid mapping would be coming in a later release. At this point indeed the feature came in a later release of hardware in AX6000. I was talking to tech support today again as I purchased a decent hardware firewall and I would like to have the same vlan feature Iin the AX6000) of vlan 1,10,20 and 30 married to SSID with trunking available on the AC3000 as this should be basic network fiormware/software update and has nothing to do with wifi6 which may demand a new chipset. In the very least I need to segment the IOT stuff from business traffic. Can you please integrate proper vlan/ssid mapping into the AC3000 (SRR60). The way this should work is a user joins SSID Wireless 1 and should be part of the corresponding VLAN/Subnet and the AC3000 would run in AP mode and trunk (80-2.1q) the vlans via the WAN port to the Firewall which provides the IP routing, dhcp and all other services. I am not looking for wifi-6.

I recommend that Netgear allow the Orbi Pro models to the ability to disable wifi radios at user's option for the following reasons: Simple update for Netgear/Orbi - Currently, Orbi software allows wifi radio strength choices of 100%, 50%, 25%...they should add an option for 0%/Off. It woudn't cost Netgear anything to provide the 0%/Off option as it only requires a modification to an existing field. It provides the User the option/choice rather than Netgear/Orbi making the choice for the user. Netgear/Orbi should place security as one of their highest priorities, and providing this option would reflect that as ethernet-only wired systems are generlly more secure than wifi. Netgeat provides this option on almost all of their other routers, so why not provide consistency and allow this as an option and give the user the same flexibility as other competing routers such as TP-Link, Linksys, and Asus. Consequently, I don't understand the resistance to doing so as it's an easy fix, increases security, and provides users the same option they have with other competing routers. Since you already provide an option for radio strength down to 25%, why not add an addtional selection for 0%/Off? Some users only use wifi occaisionally or alternatively would like to occaisoinaly diable wifi for security and/or interference reasons, and such an option would allow users to so turn it on when needed, and off when not needed. Wifi is not as secure in dense city areas and sometimes creates interference with other devices/systems, thus it would be prudent to allow the user to have the option to disable the wifi radios when needed...just give the user the choice.

It would be very usefull to be able to reboot online from the interface especially when remotely managing. Being able to change the wifi power would be great too but this is more complex
Hopefully in a future firmware
Thanks

When building a guest network in Insight, it's important to be able to rate limit throughput per client so that no one client can consume all available bandwidth on that SSID/vLan. It can be accomplished via QoS on the APs themselves, but Inisght will not recognize those configs and the config change wouldn't be replicated to other APs. Additionally, the QoS config may be destroyed by Inisght upon config updates. Instructions for configuring QoS at the AP level: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Business-Wireless/How-do-I-limit-bandwidth-per-device-on-a-WAC730/m-p/1767103

What if we could have a superuser network that could cut across network isolation? Scenarion: - wireless 1: owner's network (superuser) - wireless 2: a network for guests, with network isolation Disired outcome: - How can wireless 1 see devices on wireless 2? - How can we ensure wireless 2 has no visibility of devices on wireless 1? I want W2 guests to be able to access Sonos, lights, fans that would be on W2, but not devices set on W1. All this while enabling W1 (superuser) to see IoT devices on any network.

Hello, I am just starting to work with the AV Line switches. I use them in a concert hall. There is an administrator and many users running the shows. For this, from my point of view, there needs to be some kind of user management. On the one hand, of course, the administrator with full access, but on the other hand, another account for status monitoring and assigning ports to VLANs, if that is necessary for a show. A user management with rights management would be perfect for this. Is such a feature already planned?

These Plus switch web interface can only be accessed from the default VLAN 1. This is restrictive. Could a future firmware include the ablility to access the web interface from all defined VLAN's on the switch and not only VLAN 1.

Limiting the antenna power to levels like 100%, 50%, 25%, etc. is ridiculous and severly limits fine tuning it to the local radio enviroment. Please update to allow changing it to values from 1 dBm to 18 (20) dBm like a normal person.

Please add support for TLS 1.2 to GS108Tv2 switch range. Currently only TLS 1.0 is supported on firmware 5.4.2.35. TLS 1.0 is considered deprecated by IETF: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-tls-oldversions-deprecate-12 <extract> 4. Do Not Use TLSv1.0 TLSv1.0 MUST NOT be used. Negotiation of TLSv1.0 from any version of TLS MUST NOT be permitted. Any other version of TLS is more secure than TLSv1.0. TLSv1.0 can be configured to prevent interception, though using the highest version available is preferable. Pragmatically, clients MUST NOT send a ClientHello with ClientHello.client_version set to {03,01}. Similarly, servers MUST NOT send a ServerHello with ServerHello.server_version set to {03,01}. Any party receiving a Hello message with the protocol version set to {03,01} MUST respond with a "protocol_version" alert message and close the connection. Historically, TLS specifications were not clear on what the record layer version number (TLSPlaintext.version) could contain when sending ClientHello. Appendix E of [RFC5246] notes that TLSPlaintext.version could be selected to maximize interoperability, though no definitive value is identified as ideal. That guidance is still applicable; therefore, TLS servers MUST accept any value {03,XX} (including {03,00}) as the record layer version number for ClientHello, but they MUST NOT negotiate TLSv1.0. </extract>
